The Spring 2015 Semester offers 27 weekly courses, twelve unique lectures, and four workshops on a variety of topics ranging from political and societal issues, computers, healthy mind and body, Judaic studies, culture and history, and much more. Courses include “Internet Toolbox”, “Silver Screen Legends: The Leading Ladies”, and “Pondering Politics”, which will explore how our local government actually works and affects all of our lives. Another course offered is “Positive Aging and Wellness”, where students can learn about yoga, meditation, nutrition, and health and wellness to enhance positive aging, and a great deal more.
Students may attend as many courses as they wish, but pre-registration is required as seating is limited. A registration fee of $150 will give access to selected Sundays at JASA courses and lectures given during the spring semester. Payment arrangements are available, as is scholarship assistance.
