State of Young Black New York 2016

March 12, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join the New York Urban League Young Professionals for this year’s State of Young Black New York conference (SOYBNY) featuring Assemblyman Michael Blake, D-79 as our keynote speaker, and panelists including Political Commentator Angela Rye, New York State Democratic Party Executive Director Basil Smikle, and co-founders of Higher Heights Glynda Carr and Kimberly Peeler-Allen.

SOYBNY is a signature event of the New York Urban League Young Professionals. This symposium brings together young professionals and leaders from various disciplines to discuss the challenges of young black New York and solutions we can take.

SOYBNY 2016 will feature a keynote speaker and six panel discussions; each with unique perspectives on issues that affect us every day. We are in a unique time; the end of the first black presidency. How will we make progress and bring change in 2016 and beyond?

Tickets are available for $20.00
