In this workshop with David Zemach-Bersin, one of the world’s foremost Feldenkrais practitioners, you’ll learn how to restore a sense of calm throughout your body and nervous system, any time you wish. As unnecessary muscular effort is reduced, accumulated stress will melt away, your breathing will improve, and your sense of neurological balance will be restored.

What is the Feldenkrais Method?
–The Feldenkrais Method engages the brain to help and improve the body. It explores biological and cultural aspects of movement, posture and learning, and can free us from self-limiting habit patterns so that we can access more of our potential.
–Feldenkrais exercises (also called lessons) are gentle and easy to do for people of all ages and physical conditions.
–Using a combination of guided attention and gentle movement, each Feldenkrais lesson is an opportunity in which new patterns of thinking, moving and feeling can emerge.
–Fans of the Feldenkrais Method include Neil Young, Dr. Andrew Weil, Dame Judy Dench, Yo Yo Ma, Whoopi Goldberg, Mike Nichols, Peter Brook and Helen Hayes.
–This is a three hour workshop
