The 14th Street Y through Down Jewish Life presents, PAUSE/PLAY, an innovative Saturday afternoon of Shabbat programming, on March 12, 2016 – the final Pause/Play event this winter. Join us for recreational activities surrounding the theme of Purim Carnival for adults and children at an event designed for our diverse Downtown Community at 344 East 14th Street.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 18 and $30 Family Tickets when purchased in advance online. Day of ticketing is $15 for adults, $10 for kids under 18 and $40 family tickets. Purim Carnival – Saturday, March 12, 2016
PAUSE/PLAY programs are 2pm to 5pm, with a carnival featuring a costume Fashion Runway Show and party from 5pm to 6pm.
Join us IN COSTUME for a very special Purim Carnival, with popcorn, cotton candy, balloons, and programming for the entire family. For kids, New County Day Camp in the City will offer art and science activities, GAGA Pit, and a MusicTalks concert, and children under 5 can join PJ Play! for story time, while Adults enjoy Hip-Hop classes, Mixology tastings, and Chair Yoga. At the end of the day, participate in a community wide carnival where you can show off your costume in a Fashion Runway Show, decorate your own crown to become Queen Esther, and of course enjoy our snacks and beverages!
