On Tuesday, November 14, The National Jazz Museum in Harlem (NJMH) will host its fall benefit concert taking concert-goers on a musical journey that traces the roots of jazz from Southern blues to Chicago, New York and beyond. The program will include W.C. Handy Award-wining blues vocalist Guy Davis (son of the late Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee) and Harlem-based pianist Marc Cary, with a special performance by jazz legends Randy Weston (piano) and Reggie Workman (bass). Proceeds from the evening will support a variety of NJMH’s free concerts and education programs.
