Choreographer Miro Magloire’s New Chamber Ballet opens its 2017-18 season with the world premiere of a work to J.S. Bach’s prelude and fugue in F sharp minor. Known for his daring and sophisticated musicality, the Munich native began his career as a composer, studying composition under Mauricio Kagel at the Musikhochschule in Cologne. On this program, he also presents a ballet to one of his own compositions, along with other works to music by Mozart, Luciano Berio, and contemporary Swiss composer Beat Furrer. All music played live by Melody Fader, piano, and Door Na, violin. September 22 & 23 at 8 PM.
