On December 16, Lutheran Family Health Centers’ Community Medicine Program, in coordination with the New York City Providers of Health Care for the Homeless and National Health Care for the Homeless Council, will host its 11th annual interfaith service in honor of National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day at the Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation (5435 2nd Avenue) from 9 to 11 a.m. The program will be held in the chapel on the first floor and will include prayers, music and storytelling. Larry McReynolds, president of Lutheran Family Health Centers, and Bobby Watts, executive director of Care for the Homeless, will serve as guest speakers.
