The IndoRican Multicultural Dance Project and Tandava Arts Present:
LIVING OUR MYTHOLOGIES: DIVINITY IN DANCE
A celebration of sacred dances and mythologies of diverse cultures, with performances ranging from the healing dances of Italian Tarantella and Egyptian Zar to the mythic storytelling of Polynesian dance.
Throughout the world, ritual sacred dance and underlying mythologies have connected us in powerful sound and movement to the rhythmic, cyclical forces of creation both within and without.
It is our hope through this performance of LIVING OUR MYTHOLOGIES: DIVINITY IN DANCE to provide our audience a rare opportunity to experience the beautiful, transformative symbology of sacred dance.
Don’t miss this unique and inspiring event!!
