Members of New York City’s philanthropic, business, elder services and health care communities will come together to help make New York a better place to age at LiveOn NY’s Spring Gala. Tony-Award winning actress Judith Ivey will serve as the Master of Ceremonies and LiveOn NY Trustee Barbara Cutler will serve as this year’s Gala Chair.
David Kessler, founder of Starfish, an integrated media production company and leader in developing “brand experiences,” receives this year’s Corporate Leadership Award for his help in transforming CSCS into LiveOn NY. David Kessler was an essential part of LiveOn NY’s re-branding and re-marketing efforts.
Joan L. Ryan, a current Board Chair and Immediate Past President, will be this year’s Trustee Honoree. She continuously combines her energy, compassion and leadership skills to ensure that older New Yorkers can age with confidence, grace and vitality.
Actor, musician and singer Dominic Chianese will receive the Human Spirit Award for his compassionate work as the founder of “Joy Through Art” foundation, a nonprofit organization that brings professional artists trained in music and theater into nursing homes.
The evening will offer a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction, and jazz throughout the night. Music provided by members of the New York Pops. All money raised will support advocacy, policy and programs for older New Yorkers.
