Members of New York City’s philanthropic, business, elder services and health care communities will come together to help make New York a better place to age at LiveOn NY’s Spring Gala. Tony-Award winning actress Judith Ivey will serve as the Master of Ceremonies and Trustees Barbara Cutler & Joan L. Ryan will serve as Chairs.
LiveOn NY’s 2016 Spring Gala Dinner will honor 1) Michael Fosina, President, NewYork – Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital with the Trustee Award, 2) Uber Technologies with the Corporate Leadership Award; and 3) William C. Montana, Senior Managing Director, Savillis Studley with the Human Spirit Award.
The evening will offer a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction, and jazz throughout the night. The event will also feature a performance of music by artists from folk singer/songwriter Anais Mitchell’s “Hadestown” performing music from the production that begins in May 2016 at New York Theatre Workshop. All money raised will support advocacy, policy and programs for older New Yorkers.
LiveOn NY is a non-profit dedicated to making New York a better place to grow old. We are an incubator, shaping the future of aging by developing new ideas that take the form of advocacy, policy and program development. While continuing to improve the day-to-day lives of older New Yorkers, the money raised by the Spring Gala will help older New Yorkers age with confidence, grace and vitality.
