The Limon Dance Company will bring two Limon classics along with new works to Harlem audiences for the first time since the Company relocated to Harlem’s Everett Center for the Performing Arts. By the legendary choreographer Jose Limon are his “The Moor’s Pavane,” based on Shakespeare’s Othello; and a Suite from “A Choreographic Offering,” music by Bach and Limon’s tribute to his mentor Doris Humphrey. Always supportive of young dancemakers, the program will include preview works by three innovative choreographers: Adam Barruch, Rosie Herrera, and Yin Yue.
