You will also learn the basics of gauge and yarn types. By the end of the second session you’ll be on your way to knitting your very first scarf.
Beginner level – no experience required
Teacher: Stephanie Hague never was a great knitter. Her grandmother tried to teach her when she was young, and that didn’t stick. So when she was in college she tried to teach herself from a knitting book. That didn’t work either.
It was only when her roommate borrowed her knitting book, picking it up rather quickly, that her competitive nature kicked in she tried and tried until she figured it out. She’s been obsessed with knitting ever since.
In 2009, she launched Pretty Offensive – a knitwear line for the fashionable rebellious. The line explores balance of good and evil, hard and delicate, and allows Stephanie to express herself in a delicately beautiful and provocative way. Whether it be hand knitting or knitting on her machine, she is just. Always. Knitting.
Her work has been featured in various galleries during Art Basel in Miami, has been scouted by Cool Hunting, Patrick McMullan, and Juxtapoz magazine.
