Homebrewing is fun to do, easy to learn and delicious to drink. Our three hour introductory class isn’t just a lesson, we’ll get hands on and brew a 5 gallon batch of beer using malt extract and steeping grains. The class will cover steeping grain, boiling the wort, adding hops, fermenting the beer and the bottling process. We’ll explain how each ingredient affects the final beer and answer any questions that come up along the way so that nothing gets left to the imagination. Our process is highly approachable and especially geared toward the space constraints that typical New Yorkers face in their apartments. Each class participant will also receive a 5% discount on a homebrew equipment and recipe kit from Brooklyn Homebrew to get them started on their own batches.
