On Saturday, October 17th, New Yorkers of all ages will take part in RBC Race for the Kids, Royal Bank of Canada’s (“RBC”) inaugural race in partnership with Youth INC, which aims to raise critical funds for youth-serving nonprofits in New York City. Community leaders, public officials, RBC employees, families and the media are invited to participate in various athletic activities to benefit Youth INC, its 57 nonprofit partner organizations, and additional charities that RBC supports, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Ronald McDonald House NY. The day will kick off with a 3K Family Fun Run and shorter Kids’ Runs with activities and entertainment to follow. RBC employees will also compete in the RBC Challenge, where teams test their strength, endurance, and agility through six events as part of the fundraiser. The race is open to the general public. To register or make a contribution, please visit: youthinc.rbcraceforthekids.com and help raise our city for New York City kids. RBC is proud to lead the charge for an event that will positively impact millions of NYC children who benefit from the services of these incredible charities. RBC has a long legacy of supporting children’s causes worldwide and we take a holistic approach, supporting programs that address the needs of the “whole” child – mind, body and spirit. RBC is proud to partner with Youth INC as they take the same approach – serving NYC children through a diverse network of 57 nonprofits, each with its own mission and model. This race is part of the global RBC Race for the Kids series, which brings families, communities and RBC employees together to raise money for local children’s charities.
