Catering to both competitive and recreational athletes, The Games will have tons of opportunities to get involved from “Fear the Pier” personal fitness challenge to a pentathlon where teams compete to take home the prestigious Hudson River Park Cup!
Presented by Friends of Hudson River Park, The Games are a fundraising opportunity for participants, fans and visitors to support and drive awareness for the indispensable community resource and premier waterfront treasure that is Hudson River Park.
The Games will include:
• Pentathlon – a day-long event of unparalleled competition, where the city’s most athletically skilled teams face off in a fierce battle for the Hudson River Park Cup.
• “Fear the Pier” – a unique obstacle course on Hudson River Park’s Pier 26, designed to push you to the limits and give your fitness skills the ultimate test. The timed course features obstacles that challenge everyone from the elite athlete to the urban thrill-seeker, to the casual competitor just game for having fun!

Hudson River Park, the longest riverfront park in the United States, plays a vital role in restoring and protecting the Hudson River environment while relying solely on private funds to maintain the Park. All proceeds raised at The Games will go toward raising money for the continued maintenance of Hudson River Park.
