Kick-start your summer fitness regimen with New York’s coolest, most body-busting obstacle course EVER: Fear the Pier at the Hudson River Park Games May 21st on Pier 26. Dare to compete in this one-of-a-kind NYC fitness challenge across police barriers, school busses, “Jersey Barricades,” a monster wall, and a thigh-crushing body crawl. This Olympic-style fun and fierce fitness event is a celebration of what makes New York and its spirited residents unlike anything else in the world, filling our riverfront parklands and glorious piers with pulse-raising athletic challenges.

The 2016 Games include:
• Fear the Pier: an epic obstacle course, a one-of-a-kind adrenaline rush along Manhattan’s lower westside waterfront. Rev up your summer with the ultimate fitness test, and help ensure that free community recreational programs thrive in New York’s Park for Play for years to come. This timed course features heart-pumping, body-busting, obstacles that challenge everyone from the elite athlete to the urban thrill-seeker, to the casual competitor just game for having fun!
• Team Pentathlon: a day-long event of unparalleled competition, where the city’s most athletically skilled teams face off in a fierce battle for the Hudson River Park Cup.
• Community Fest: a week-long kick off to The Games with recreational activities, deals, and events from our Community Partners.
