NYSEC welcomes all families to attend it’s Happy Bones Festival in the Fall Season. Free and open to the public, it includes face painting, mystery explorations, sharing of ancestral stories and memories, autumn arts and crafts, fun snacks!
Each year, Ethics For Children at NYSEC hosts a Happy Bones Festival that brings a life-affirming experience to the mysterious and natural themes of the fall season. This is a creative and non-commercialized, non-gorey celebration that spins together the mysteries of body and ancestry of All-Hallows-Eve and Dia de los Muertos (the Mexican tradition of Day of the Dead) into a dance celebration of HAPPY BONES.
