The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District (BID) provides free, year-round historic walking tours of the district every Sunday, led by professional guides. On December 3, the Flatiron Partnership will hold special holiday-themed walking tour focused on the Flatiron Building, its history, and influence on the neighborhood, to complement its annual “23 Days of Flatiron Cheer” festivities. The tour, led by historian Miriam Berman, will include a discussion with Deidre and Nicholas McDermott, Principals of Future Expansion, who designed the holiday installation, Flatiron Reflection, the centerpiece of the “23 Days” festivities. Tours start at 11:00 a.m. at the southwest corner of Madison Square Park (in front of the William Seward statue) at 23rd Street and Broadway. No advance registration is required.
