Singer, songwriter, guitarist and deemed, “a true artist of the human condition” by Performer Magazine, Freddy Hall crafts songs about life, love – and everything in between. A Virginia native, Hall set up camp in Brooklyn in 2008 after graduating from Berklee College of Music. He quickly made a name for himself as a professional guitarist playing the first national tour of Duncan Shiek’s Tony Award Winning, Spring Awakening. Freddy also landed a spot as a guitarist on Broadway’s Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, and performed in Tony Award Winning musicals American Idiot and Fun Home.
It was on the Spring Awakening tour that Freddy met drummer, Marques Walls, and bassist, Alan Stevens Hewitt. Nearly a decade later, the three have joined forces to shape Freddy’s upcoming indie album, Nothing in the Open – an autobiographical meditation on the perils of reacquainting a childhood love, and is being released on Monday, May 8th.
