Ethics and the Theater will present a play reading of The Great God Pan, by Amy Herzog
Directed by Susanna Frazer
Jamie has a beautiful girlfriend, a fulfilling job. He should be happy. But a meeting with a childhood acquaintance that throws a troubling light on his past undermines his certainties, deepening existing fault lines in his relationships and shaking his sense of self.
Herzog gently, humorously, but unflinchingly explores how memory eludes, deludes, and shapes us all. Come for the reception and stay for the reading and a discussion of the ethical issues of the play
Come at 6:30 pm for a reception and after the reading participate in a discussion of the ethical issues of the play led by Betsy Ungar.
