October 6, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm

| Free

As we approach the five-year mark of Superstorm Sandy and its consequences and confront the increasingly severe impact of climate-related weather events, this conference will focus on equity, accessing community-based knowledge, and incorporating community voices in policy making on climate resilience. The program will include four panel discussions on the topics of Governance for Resilience; Waterfront Resilience: Coastal Protection, Restoration and Retreat; Rebuilding as Resilience; and Lessons Learned and the Path Forward, as well as a conversation with NYC’s Chief Resilience Officer, Daniel Zarrilli.
