Amida Care, a not-for-profit New York community health plan, is hosting a free community family and fitness event at Brooklyn Stuy Dome on Saturday, June 16. The event is free and open to the public. The afternoon will include fun fitness activities with instructor Nakisha Ross of Alwayz Fit 4 Lyfe and face painting for kids in solidarity with Brooklyn’s LGBTQ Pride Month’s celebrations. Light refreshments and giveaways will be available to attendees. This event is part of Amida Care’s “Live Your Life” program, a concerted effort to keep healthy and active lifestyles at the center of people’s everyday lives. The event is made possible with support from Brooklyn Council Member Robert E. Cornegy, Jr.
