December 13, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Understanding how depression affects the brain using neuroimaging techniques and how stress produces functional dysregulation will be the focus of the next Brain & Behavior Research Foundation monthly webinar on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 2 to 3 p.m. EST. Yvette I. Sheline, M.D., NARSAD Grantee, and professor of Psychiatry, Radiology, Neurology at University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, will discuss treatment effects of antidepressants and cognitive behavioral therapy on emotion-induced fMRI activity in PTSD and depression; longitudinal effects of treatment on neuropsychological and brain structural variables in late-life depression; and modifiers of brain amyloid binding in normal aging and preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease.

The free webinar is open to the public, who can register online at bbrfoundation.org/webinars. During the last 15 minutes of the webinar, Dr. Sheline will answer questions posed by participants.
