Birding is one of this country’s fastest growing hobbies, and there is no place better to learn all about it than Green-Wood. This two-session course, led by expert birder Rob Jett, will teach the beginner the basics of birding, including the pure delight of it. Over 200 species of birds reside in, or pass through, Green-Wood every year. That makes for an outstanding opportunity to observe and identify our aviary friends. Sunday’s session is a walk through the Cemetery so participants can show off the expertise they acquired on Saturday.
Participants will be ready for any of Green-Wood’s Birding in Peace walks, taking place every Sunday morning between April and August.
Comfortable footwear is recommended.
This is a two-day class: Saturday, March 17 & Sunday, March 18, 2018; 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
