Be right in the action on the Circle Line Spectator Boat at the 25th annual Great North River Tugboat Race & Competition! Boarding begins at 9 a.m. at Circle Line Sightseeing Pier 83 located at W. 43rd St. & Hudson River Park in Manhattan. Boat will leave at 9:30 a.m. and we will cruise with the Parade of Tugboats up the river to the starting line at W. 70th St. and race alongside the tugs back to Pier 84 @ W. 44th St. There you can watch the tugboats in the nose-to-nose pushing and line-toss contents. The boat will return at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $25/adult; $20 senior & $12 kids ages 3-10.
Tugboats will then tie up at Pier 84 where there’s more fun for the whole family after the race! When you leave the spectator boat you can head over to Pier 84 where you can test your skills in the amateur line-toss competition or try your luck at in the ever-popular spinach-eating contest. Awards will be presented at 1 p.m.
