One hundred K-2 students at P.S. 154, The Harriet Tubman Learning Center, received new backpacks brimming with school supplies from the Allure Group’s Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation (The Harlem Center) on Wednesday, September 25. The annual event was exceptionally special this year, as fathers of the young students were also in attendance for a “Dads Day” celebration at the school.

The backpacks, which were filled with essential supplies for students to succeed including pencils, cases, notebooks and more, were donated by The Harlem Center to help support the next generation of students in their community.

The principal of P.S. 154, Elizabeth Jarrett, was in attendance as well as officials from The Allure Group and staff members of The Harlem Center.

With a commitment to excellence that goes beyond patient care, The Allure Group is a devoted good neighbor in the Harlem community. In addition to the annual backpack giveaway, Allure underwrites meals at local community centers, makes frequent donations to neighborhood churches, sponsors clothing drives, offers free school supplies for students and more.
