Employment in New York State grew by 30,400 in December and 105,300 in the past year, according to data released Tuesday by the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Only Texas saw more growth from November to December, adding 45,000 jobs.

Texas also led the way in employment growth over 2014, with a 457,900 increase. California was second with 320,000 new jobs.
