Rocking the Boat will use its share of a grant package from Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to partner with BOEDC in an effort to keep pollutants out of the Bronx River. Other funds collected by the AG’s Bronx River Watershed Initiative from polluters in Westchester will go to the Botanical Garden and to nonprofits for tree plantings, community gardens and to establish a mussel colony.
