FYI: Seedco’s Board of Directors has elected Diane Baillargeon to serve as the $28 million community development group’s president, effective September 1. Baillargeon succeeds Bill Grinker, who founded Seedco 17 years ago and has served as its president for the last five years. Baillargeon worked with Grinker to found a consulting firm that helped health and human services nonprofits with program development and has served in both the state Department of Social Services and the city’s Human Resources Administration. She is also a former deputy director of Columbia University’s Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse. Grinker will continue as Seedco’s CEO and as board member for the fund that manages the group’s New Market Tax Credit program. [8/20/03]
