“The Composer as Confessor”

“The Composer as Confessor” is the third of four concerts in PhiloSonia’s inaugural season “Revelations”. The concert examines how composers look back into their lives through their work: Bedřich Smetana – String Quartet “From My Life”, Franz Schubert String Quintet D.956

Performers include: Stanichka Dimitrova, Igor Pikayzen, violins; Chieh-Fan Jay Yiu, viola; Adrian Daurov, Michael Katz, cellos.

This season of four concerts takes you on a journey through the struggles and triumphs of different composers as expressed through their masterpieces.
