Participants in this fast-paced workshop will learn how to use Twitter, Facebook, Google+, among other social media platforms, to build a personalized strategy to identify, articulate and promote their artistic brands on-line– thus bringing the world to their front door. The workshop will cover topic including how to start creating an online presence, gaining sponsorship, choosing which platform(s) work best for your work, crafting your online voice, social media etiquette, and networking online.
“The Art and Ambition of Social Media” is a hands-on workshop designed for every artist in need of solid, strategic help creating a social media presence to promote themselves and their art. When used correctly, social media allows artists to create online communities of passionate fans who will nourish, sustain and expand an artist’s work.
