NYC’S LEADING EXPERTS IN ALZHEIMER’S & DEMENTIA CARE HOST 2016 ANNUAL RESEARCH MEETING: “TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY: PREVENTION, TREATMENT, AND THE CONSEQUENCES”

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, CaringKind, NYC’s leading experts in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, will host its 2016 Annual Research Meeting. Moderated by CBS 2 Medical Reporter Dr. Max Gomez, a panel of distinguished medical and scientific experts will explore “Traumatic Brain Injury: Prevention, Treatment, and the Consequences.” The event is supported by Bill and Jane Brachfeld.

The expert panelists will include:

• Sam Gandy, MD, PhD, Mount Sinai Endowed Chair in Alzheimer’s Disease Research, Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry, Director of the Center for Cognitive Health and NFL Neurological Care

• Robert A. Stern, MD, Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University School of Medicine; Director of the Clinical Core of the BU Alzheimer’s Disease Center; and Director of Clinical Research for the BU Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) Center.
