This afternoon, renowned meditation master Lama Ole Nydahl will cover the continuing power and relevance of Buddhist wisdom for our busy, contemporary lifestyles. More than just another form of self-help, the teachings and meditation practices found in the Buddhist tradition can lead to making our lives deeply meaningful. Through them, we can discover our own clarity and strength, and become more effective helping others.
Lama Ole is one of the few Westerners fully qualified as a Lama and meditation teacher in the Karma Kagyu tradition, one of the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism. His skill in presenting profound Buddhist teachings in a fresh, direct style has attracted thousands of independent-minded people worldwide. Along with his late wife Hannah, he has played a major role and bringing Buddhism to the West – inspiring the founding of over 650 Diamond Way Buddhist Centers in 44 countries worldwide. Lama Ole’s talk will include a guided mediation and time for questions. Admission $25
