Guided Bird Tour & Nature Story Time for Kids in Central Park on July 28th

Children in the New York City area will have the opportunity to explore and embrace nature on Thursday, July 28th for a very special event. A bird expert from the NYC Audubon Society (nycaudubon.org) will lead a guided children’s tour through Central Park’s beautiful grounds to point out various types of birds. In addition, Singaporean Author, T.K. Garbo is visiting NYC and would like to share the gift of literacy and birds and conservation with the children.

The bird tour will begin promptly at 3:00pm at the park entrance at 72nd Street and Central Park West. Following the bird tour, guests will convene for snacks and drinks. This is a free event and open to children ages 5-15 years old and their parents. Souvenir gifts will be given to the children.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet Singaporean Author T.K. Garbo, who recently released her New Fantasy Book, “Mission From Gondwana.”

T.K. Garbo combines her experience of working with man-made flying machines with her passion for creative writing to create a fantasy musical novel in which winged creatures and humans both figure. Her new book, “Mission from Gondwana,”is a truly imaginative novel that will entertain, enlighten and delight readers young and not so young.
