City Limits is now recruiting for the winter/spring 2015 session of its Bronx Investigative Internship.

The program is open to Bronx high-school and college-aged students who can commit to 10 hours of work per week from mid-January through April. The 10 hours include mandatory group sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Hostos Community College (149th Street and Grand Concourse).

Interns learn investigative reporting practices and apply them in an investigative project that ends with published work under their byline. Students are paid a stipend of $1,200 for the 12-week program.

Interest in investigative reporting and civic affairs is a must. Solid writing skills are essential. Experience in news reporting is a plus.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. on December 23rd.
