The NYPD’s stop-and-frisk database provides detailed information on every stop police make—date and time, location, suspect’s description, the reasons for the stop and any arrest made or summons issued. In all New York City, no precinct saw more stops than the 75th, covering East New York, Brooklyn. And no sector of the 7-5 was witness to more encounters than sector E. There were 4,600 stops in that sector last year. The most occurred on Friday, May 13. Here’s what happened:
