FYI: New York employers shouldered a 10 percent cost increase for their health benefits this year, according to a national survey conducted by Rochester-based Mercer Human Resources Consulting. The 126 local companies who responded predicted an even greater jump next year. Nationally, the survey’s 2,900 respondents said they saw health benefit costs go up nearly 15 percent this year.
