The head of the city Housing Department’s Tenant Interim Lease Program has apparently been forced out by higher-ups at her agency. Nicole Levin, an assistant commissioner with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development will stay another month, sources say. Her departure comes at a time when agency boss Richard Roberts has embarked on a staff shake-up.

Joe Center, the bearded former director of PEOPLES and ECDO, has added another assonant acronym to his resume: UHAB. Center, who is working towards a doctorate, has joined the staff of the tenant ownership organization as an associate director in charge of business management.
