At the end of this month, Andrew White–staffer for seven years, editor for the last five–leaves City Limits to strike out on a freelance parenting, writing and consulting career. White was responsible for guiding the magazine, vastly increasing funding for its nonprofit parent, creating the Weekly and, most recently, launching City Limits’ policy institute, the Center for an Urban Future.

White’s job will be filled by no less than three people. Kim Nauer, currently a senior editor, will become executive director of City Limits Community Information Service, our nonprofit parent. Carl Vogel, interim managing editor and Glenn Thrush, another senior editor, will now co-edit the magazine. Thrush will continue on as editor of the weekly.
